About the Photo:
I climbed through the window of Yvette's room when she was out, and I took a bunch of pictures of her room. While taking pictures, I found this notebook half-hidden under a cloth. It looked like a diary, and in it she had clipped 2 pawprint stamps, her own and her brother's, and underneath were the words...
I'm sorry about the amount of pink in this picture. It looks...so GIRLY *shudders*.
When I read ~hellovanity's comment about Yvette and Yann's connection with each other, and how they always fight, my first reaction was: But they must still love each other on the inside, because they're siblings! So I tried to show that in the picture.
The pink stuff was actually my dress from Grade 8 prom. I realized that I had no ribbons...and this was as close as I could find...
The "bandages" are actually toilet paper. I realized I actually didn't have any bandages in my house either...shame on me!
Pawprints were hand-drawn and watercoloured.
The photo was cropped a bit, and I made it brighter because the lighting in my room was VERY BAD...

I like how everything is composed, from the fabric in the background, the toilet paper, the book and how everything is clipped.
The framing feels just right and the focusing is pretty cool too.
I would say to experiment with the lighting a bit more.. at the moment, it feels a bit plain in that respect, but other than that, it's a truly lovely piece! The thought you've put into this is pretty apparent.
